I try to incorporate self-help activities into my life whenever possible.

For example, I always give myself an extra day off when I return from a trip. This allows me to return less stressed, and I’m able to reset before jumping back into work mode. This has become non-negotiable for me.

I also make sure to carve out time in my calendar to eat lunch every day. I know it might sound silly, but it’s really important to me that I eat so I’m not cranky. I structure my media-training coaching calls and other appointments around it.
